Who & Why
The Great Fete is the Samuel Gilbert Public School P&C’s major school fundraiser, with profits contributing to valuable school resources like air conditioning, IT infrastructure and learning resources. It's run by the school's P&C who are always grateful for support from local businesses, families, individuals and school staff.
Amenities
Food and Drink, Toilets, First Aid, Central Information Point, and roaming Fete Officials in clearly marked green Great Fete shirts.
Allergy Advice
Food at The Great Fete may (and sometimes does) contain nuts, eggs and other products. Even where ingredients are listed in homemade goods, there may be traces. Please be vigilant in the case of known allergies/intolerances.
Parking
On the streets surrounding the school. Please do not park in the Knightsbridge Shopping Centre carpark, and please be respectful of our neighbours.
Costs
FREE ENTRY – offering a fantastic and affordable day out for families and individuals! All games, rides and activities are reasonably priced. Purchase an Unlimited Rides Armband for unlimited rides on the day, or save money and pre-purchase tickets. As with any large-scale public event, children require adult supervision at all times and are the responsibility of their families/carers.
